In the summer of 2019, I made my premiere performance at La Mama’s Ellen Stewart Theatre. As the space was just awarded the 2018 Regional Theatre Tony Award, I was ecstatic to be performing in such a prestigious venue.

“Captain Filthy Fred” is a new musical by Marika Barnett & Istvan L Ver based on the popular Hungarian novel “Dirty Fred, the Captain” by P. Howard, which premiered in June of 2018 - just after the Tony Award was won!

Fun Fact: I was originally set to originate four roles in the world premiere of the show. When one of our cast members had to drop out of the show on opening night due to an unexpected illness, however, I took on an additional three roles. With only hours to memorize the additional lines and blocking, I took on the challenge and juggled all seven characters for the full run!
