“Bottled Up” was an open bar, interactive theater experience performed at DCTV. In case you aren’t familiar, the building is an old fire department that has been morphed into a performance space!
It suited our needs perfectly as “Bottled Up” consisted of (2) One Acts written by Celeste Makoff. The first in the line up was “Jack in the Box,” which centered on a young boy’s mysterious decision to alienate himself by sitting silently in a crudely constructed wooden box out in the backyard. I played his best friend, Tuck, who was convinced that Jack was hiding in the box because of him. This wonderful comedy was directed by Jonathan King.
